Goal Setting: June

Yes, yes, I know… what’s the point of making this post if June is almost already over?

Well, if I didn’t, my super particular (although, sometimes late) self would never let herself live it down that she missed a post like this, so, I’m doing it. JUDGE ME.

Back at the beginning of this month, I was determined to have one of the best summers to date. And so far, June has been everything it was cracked up to be. I wanted to work as much as possible in order to save for college and during the small amount of time I didn’t work, I wanted to make sure I was taking advantage of that time to hangout with friends and make memories that would last a lifetime.

One valuable lesson I learned during my first year in college that I have discussed before is that it’s not the quantity of friends you have, but rather the quality. And let me tell you, once I finally realized this, so much more positive energy was brought into my life and I started hanging out with people that genuinely made me happy. Life is too short to worry about what others think of you so live your life the way you want to and be friends with whoever you want to.

Yeah, once again, I know this post is 22 days late but I guess that just means that my summer is becoming one of the greatest and most productive yet.

Stay tuned for a lot of summer posts as I have a lot planned!

(I just need to actually bring myself to write them)

(I’ll get there, I swear)
