How would you describe your style in three words?

I would say that my style is practical, classic, and many of my day to day pieces have a bit of a bohemian vibe.

What’s your favorite item of clothing that you own?

About a year ago, I found a pair of distressed, boyfriend jeans on sale for $8.00 that were definitely too short to be pants on me but are now my favorite pair of capris! They are super comfortable and add just enough of an edgy vibe to anything that I pair them with.

If you could own one piece of clothing that you do not already have, what would it be?

I am still in search of an oversized, vintage, denim jacket that I can use to layer over a t-shirt or tank on cool summer nights.

What are your favorite pair of shoes that you own?

I find that I spend much of our Wisconsin fall and spring months wearing my matte black Hunter rainboots. They are totally practical for the often unpredictable weather and can be used to dress up or dress down any outfit.

Where are a few of your favorite places to shop?

My paychecks generally go towards clothes from Urban, Nordstrom Rack, lululemon and Anthropologie (as well as the occasional thrift store visit). I totally recommend making one or two visits to a local thrift store every week. Some of my favorite clothing items come from the Goodwill in my neighborhood.

So I’m just going to start this off by saying that Kate is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met in my entire life, and that’s not an exaggeration either. Kate and I met back in the second grade when she moved to town, and we’ve been great friends ever since. Although we may have not been as close in high school, we both learned a lot about what true friends really are and discovered that we always had a best friend in each other from the start. Kate’s style is unique to her and describes who she is as a person both inside and out… beautiful! AND, not to mention we get to tear it up in Madtown together as roomies in the NEAR future. We’ve already made so many great memories together in the short amount of time given to us called summer, and I can’t wait for all of the ones to come as we take on the new chapter in our life together.
